Thermal Break
Our doors are the only steel edge doors with a true thermal break. The vinyl extrusion locks the steel skins together, but separates the exterior skin from the interior skin, eliminating the transfer of heat or cold through the steel skins.

THE EDGE IN TOTAL PERFORMANCE IS OURS.
Our Steel-Edge Doors combine the strength and security of interlocking 24-gauge steel-edge construction with a core of high performance polyurethane and unique steel-edge thermal break. For overall performance, there's nothing quite like it. In fact, Our steel-edge insulated steel doors meet or exceed most industry performance standards.

A IMPROVED INSULATION
An environmentally friendly polyurethane core provides an R-15 insulating value. That's four times better than an ordinary wood door, and twice as energy efficient as a steel door with a polystyrene core. Because the polyurethane chemically bonds to the steel skins, structural rigidity is greatly enhanced. As a result, Our Doors have a proven track record for long-term dependability.
B REINFORCED LOCKSET AREA
Steel skins are punched and extruded in the lockset area, strengthened by a right angle lip around the lock hole. A molded ABS plastic interior reinforcement is added, assuring a permanent, solid base for hardware application.
C INTERLOCKING STEEL EDGE
Our interlocking steel-edge design is unique to the industry, incorporating six 90° steel bends in each edge. This strengthening feature ensures stability and helps to eliminate warping and thermal bowing.

D POSITIVE THERMAL BREAK
The vinyl extrusion which locks the steel skins together also serves to insulate the outer skin from the inner skin. This is a true thermal break that prevents the transfer of heat or cold.
E RIGID STEEL SKINS
Unlike wood doors, steel skins won't shrink, sag, warp or rot. And the use of 24-gauge galvanized steel provides excellent performance in exterior building applications.
F TRIPLE CONTACT BOTTOM SWEEP
Twin compression tubes and an extruded vinyl blade provide a positive seal between the door bottom and the threshold, eliminating drafts, leaks and ice build-up.
